Tim Buxton MARLA
Senior Partner

Tim likes to point out to his fellow Alton estate agents that he is the youngest of the original partnership. Originally from sunny Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, Tim moved to the area over 20 years ago. Spare time is spent walking Daisy the dog and attempting, quite unsuccessfully, to learn French. In recent years he has become a keen but dangerously experimental cook. Married, he finds his young daughter takes up lots of his energy. However, he is also an avid skier and manages to find the enthusiasm to go for the occasional run.

Nick Warren FNAEA
Founding Partner

Nick has been selling properties all his working life, including over 16 years as an estate agent in Alton, and he has an intimate knowledge of the area and its complexities. Born in Alton, Nick has always been a Hampshire resident and was educated locally at Lord Wandsworth College and Eggar's Grammar School. With a busy career in Estate Agency, there isn't much time left for other pursuits. However, Nick still manages an encyclopaedic knowledge of Aldershot Town Football Club and an active interest in the countryside and maps. A Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents, Nick is married with a daughter and a son.

Polly Gillert
Partner

Polly has boundless enthusiasm and has proven herself to be an absolute natural at putting clients at their ease and really understanding their requirements. Educated in Midhurst, Polly has worked in both Selborne and Farringdon, so knows the Alton, Surrey and Hampshire area well. As the resident computer expert in our Alton estate agency, Polly is also capable of sorting out all the Partners technological problems, which is pretty important given that Clive, Nick and Tim still struggle to programme their video recorders. Do people still have video recorders?

Richard Santos
Partner and Head of Residential Lettings

Richard has been in the property industry since 1988 and has gained a wealth of valuable knowledge in both sales and lettings over that time. Locally he has built an enviable reputation amongst letting agents in Alton for providing quality service, communication and client feedback. Richard is married to Joanna, who is obviously keen on keeping an eye on Richard and will be helping out in the office too! Joanna's family have lived in South Warnborough for over 30 years.

Elizabeth Lowther
Office Manager

Elizabeth has lived in the Alton area for over 20 years. Married with two teenage boys and 2 dogs, she met her husband whilst working in the travel industry and has travelled extensively, latterly enjoying adventure travel holidays in South Africa, Thailand, Egypt, Greece and Italy. When not walking the Border terrier and Jack Russell, feeding the family or providing invaluable support to our estate agents in Alton, she enjoys taking part in combat and body attack classes at a local gym.

Clare Knight
Sales

When we asked Clare for a few details for her 'meet the team' profile, she mentioned a busy life taken up with 2 teenage boys, 2 dogs and a husband. We couldn't help wondering if she'd listed them in order of preference. Another long-term Alton resident, Clare is new to Estate Agency following a long career in the print industry, but with her friendly manner and attention to detail, she has taken to it like a duck to water. Spare time is spent restoring furniture, gardening and, rather worryingly like several members of the WPR team, she admits to a fondness for a glass or two of wine.

Harry Kellie
Sales

The first time we met Harry was when he was a mere 9 years old and his family were renting a property through WPR Lettings. Who would have believed all those years ago that this polite young man with his bedroom walls covered in Arsenal FC posters would grow up to be our star trainee negotiator. Still mad about football, but forced to stop playing through injury, Harry is starting his property apprenticeship in our Alton Office where his friendly and winning personality have made a great impression with colleague and clients alike.

His eclectic range of hobbies include gardening, reading, competition level rifle target shooting and Scuba diving. He describes himself as having an interest in Buddhism which gives him a positive, peaceful, friendly and compassionate outlook on life. This is combined with a high level of personal motivation and an enthusiastic personality. Benjamin is also on track to become a volunteer Police Special Constable.

Jo Wright
Sales

Jo has lived in the area for over 25 years but is originally from Essex and admits to being an Essex girl at heart. She is kept busy with her black Labradors. She loves gardening and growing her own veg, socialising with friends and is disappointingly an avid Spurs supporter. With a fantastic eye for detail, Jo offers sales and admin support at our Alton office.

Joanna Santos
Lettings Administration

Joanna has lived in the area for a large part of her life, growing up in the grounds of Old Basing House, which is now open to the public. Playing in the ruined remains as a child led to her keen interest in archaeology and architecture. She studied at both Southampton and Farnham Universities, graduating with a BA (Hons) in 3D Design. Joanna has put this to great use during various renovation projects, including her current scheme of restoring a lake, which has been untouched for the last thirty years. In her spare time she also paints, plays the piano and has recently become an avid bird watcher.
